What do we know about Ukrainian ware? Of course, we know all about it. Every bend bowl, a jug handle, a pattern of plates subconsciously we perceive as something we love infinitely. Ukrainians have always been mostly rural nation; therefore the ware was also simple. We do not notice sophisticated Chinese porcelain or sharpness of city vessels, there is only clay, paint, glaze and warmth expressed by the colors and forms. Ware absorbed the energy of previous generations to give it to the next generations. Plates and dishes are our roots.
